In September 2025, following online discussions with prospective clients in the chemical industry, WREN engineers visited the client's site to conduct a bolt tightening demonstration on the equipment.

For this project, WREN engineers brought a dual-motor high-flow hydraulic torque wrench electric pump. This pump operates at 380V/50Hz and is equipped with two 2.2kW motors. It features a 30L large-capacity oil tank and three flow settings, enabling simultaneous operation of up to four wrenches. The pump incorporates a wheeled design for easy mobility.

The portable hydraulic torque wrench is a hollow-type model from the WRENLOW series, featuring an ultra-thin aluminum-titanium alloy body ideal for confined spaces. Its hollow working head design allows direct placement over nuts without requiring sockets, minimizing operational constraints. Available in six standard models with a maximum torque of 44,593 N·m, it delivers output torque with an error margin not exceeding 3%. Custom counterbalance arms are available.

Additionally, for bolts on specialized pipes like the one shown below, manual wrenches were previously used with manual hammering, which was both time-consuming and labor-intensive. After reviewing the situation, WREN engineers recommended the WED CX series electric torque wrench. Capable of delivering up to 8000 N·m of torque, it features a display screen with 1 N·m increments for adjustment. When a target torque is input, the output torque deviation does not exceed 5%, and the repeatability deviation remains within 2%. The complete electric torque wrench set includes two fast-charging lithium batteries, enabling one to be used while the other charges, ensuring continuous and stable operation. 

For the operating conditions shown in the figure above, standard reaction arms can be used. For special operating conditions, customized reaction arms can be provided, such as the double-sleeve reaction arm and extended reaction arm shown in the figure below. Additionally, when working space is limited and there is insufficient room to operate an electric wrench, a drive unit can be added. This allows the torque input from the electric torque wrench to be transmitted through the drive unit to the bolt, enabling bolt tightening operations.
